Jen ran Global Events for Slack for 4 years and Twitter for 6. Having built both event programs from the ground up, she specializes in logistics, organization and coordination and has managed events ranging from 10 person intimate VIP dinners to 6,000 attendee blowouts. She has a strong pulse on culinary and design trends, creative problem solving and what she likes to call "ballin on a budget".

Jen loves dining until closing time, inappropriate hemlines, laughing until she's crying, telling people when she's exercised and creepily watching her children while they're sleeping. She recently relocated to the Midwest to be close to family and has been enjoying having all four seasons and diving into the event market in Cincinnati!

Jillian West is an artist and was a wedding photographer for nearly a decade, learning the intricacies of events both huge and tiny.  She's worn almost every career hat, such as Negotiator for the Government in Australia, Global Brand Protection Manager at Twitter, and the Curator and owner of her very own art gallery and vintage shop, Electric Blanket. 

Jillian loves un-fancy coffee, laying on the grass on sunny days, dancing around her living room to David Bowie, and making elaborate, crazy ideas come to life. 

Amy has been managing events with the Recess team since 2019. With valuable experience planning corporate events in-house under her hat, as well as an extensive background in marketing, she can now be found managing on-site events with Recess, and giving creative input for special projects. 

When not helping Recess get things done, Amy spends her time trying the newest hotspots in Cincinnati, organizing and then reorganizing her (and her friends!) closets, boozy brunches and spending time with her dog, Alfie.
